Choice of Filter Bags
What governs the choice of filter bags is temperature, filtrate, flow, particle type, chemical compatibility, viscosity, etc. All filter bags in our range are manufactured in a range of different materials such as; nylon, polypropylene, polyester etc. Filter bags are divided into surface filtering and deep filtering. For surface filtering bags, a woven cloth of nylon or polyester is used. For deep filtering bags, material consisting of needle felt with fibers of varying length and thickness is used. The longer, thicker fiber contributes, for example, to good flow and high dirt holding capacity. The thinner fiber provides properties such as high flow and oil adsorbing effect. Iron particles can be separated with a magnetic rod placed in the bag.

Our filter bags are designed and produced in our own factory

Therefore, we can offer a new generation of filter bags with a very high and consistent quality of each filter. This is because we control the quality throughout the entire manufacturing chain from material selection, sewing, welding to final inspection of the finished bag. We guarantee a high-quality and totally silicone-free final product to our customers. We avoid expensive middlemen and transport and can therefore keep competitive prices and secure deliveries to our customers wherever they are in the world. If we don’t have the bag requested by the customer, then we simply manufacture it!

Different materials and sizes for filter bags
The bags are thermally surface treated so that fibers do not release from the filter material. Metal sealing ring is standard, but the filters can be supplied with Quick-lock ring in polypropylene, polyester, neoprene and nylon. The quick-lock ring eliminates leakage between bag and basket and has a handle, which facilitates filter changes. Filter bags are available in all standard sizes, but can also be custom ordered according to each customer’s wishes, such as Hammelmann®, GAF®, Cofies® and other special bags.
