Activated carbon cartridge

IFAB Activated Carbon are commonly used in order to remove flavor, odor and color from

liquids. Special filters for oil filtration is also available. The activated carbon contains large amount of cracks and pores that remove particles, organics and heavy metals. Activated carbon is made out of coconut shells, hard coal or charcoal. IFAB have all sorts of them in their product selection.

The media used in the construction of this range is a unique combination of powder activated carbon and cellulose fibre which is formed into a sheet and wrapped around a polypropylene core, supported by an outer of polypropylene netting.
